Caren Charles is a New York based artist whose creative path is constantly shifting & expanding through the life journey. What remains constant is that she is inspired by the beauty found in the natural world, music, the connections shared with animals, plants, fellow human beings, and the infinite flow of energy that exists in everything. She aims to create works of art that emit a positive vibration & act as an uplifting presence in a space. Caren often incorporates bright, vibrant colors, and flowing lines, which are key elements in her art that she describes as ‘flowedelic’. She views her creative process as healing and uses painting as a tool for meditative practice, self reflection & having fun. Body painting is also one of her passions~ She paints herself to merge with her paintings & she offers it frequently at creative community gatherings, events, and festivals across the nation. She sees body painting as a healing, transformative energy exchange that serves in empowering individuals, while bringing out their inner essence of beauty to the surface of the skin.
