Janet A. Olney
Janet Olney is a painter. Originally from Boston, MA, she received her MFA in Painting from MICA in and completed a Post-Baccalaureate in Studio Art at Brandeis University. She is the recipient the Henry Walters Travelling Fellowship and a scholarship to attend the Chautauqua Summer Studio Program. She has exhibited on the east coast, including group shows at the Trestle Gallery in Brooklyn, NY, Creative Alliance, in Baltimore, MD and an upcoming solo show at Visarts in Rockville, MD. Her work is featured in vol. 32 of Studio Visit magazine and she currently teaches at the Maryland Institute College of Art. She is an avid cyclist and whenever possible spends time in Japan. Janet lives and works in Baltimore, MD.
