Kei Ito
I was born in Tokyo, Japan. I moved to New Zealand for high school and then moved to Rochester, NY to achieve a BFA from Rochester Institute of Technology. I recently moved to Baltimore, MD to attend MICA for my Masters Degree. My goal as a photographer is to interact with my viewers and allow them to relive my experience through creating an environment. I have been developing my photography skills to not only be able to see and capture a moment, but also to follow my interest in installation art, video art, and other fine art techniques, as well as intaglio print and historical photo processes. This variety of interests has allowed me to push the limit of photography and express my perspective on the story I want the viewer to experience.
