Sara Lautman
I’m a cartoonist from New Jersey. MACROGROAN is the title of my anthology series, available at Fantastic Comics and Pegasus Books (Berkeley, CA), Quimby’s bookstore (Chicago, IL), Bluestockings Books (LES, NYC), Desert Island Comics (Brooklyn), and Atomic Books in Baltimore, Maryland. I draw editorial comics and illustrations. Sometimes I write with just text and no pictures. Usually there are pictures. Jezebel, The Pitchfork Review, The Rumpus, The Los Angeles Review of Books, The Awl, The Hairpin, The Stranger, Bitch Magazine, City Paper in Baltimore, The Morning News, Heeb, Razorcake, The Toast and Comics Workbook are some of the publications I’ve worked with. My books are available from Tinto Press (Lying and Cursing, 2015), Birdcage Bottom Books (Macrogroan 6, 2015), and Ray Ray Books (Creation of Manson and We Be Jammin’, both published in 2015).
