I was born in East Canton, Ohio in 1977. In 1996, I was awarded scholarships from Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts, and received a Distinguished Merit Scholarship by The School of the Art Institute of Chicago to study painting and drawing. I moved to Baltimore, Maryland in 2002 to work for New Arts Foundry to apply patinas on bronze sculptures. Over the years I’ve been involved in a wide variety of public and private projects ranging from monument restoration to sculpting commissioned portrait reliefs. In addition to working in the bronze casting studio, I have exhibited work throughout the mid-Atlantic. Currently, I am focusing on creating new sculptures and paintings to exhibit publicly.
