Tracy Hetzel
Through painting, Tracy strives to achieve personal expression and simultaneously create something that brings people joy. She believes the role of an artist, in any medium, is to call attention to subjects and moments that often go unnoticed. When she paints, it is because something has evoked a highly personal response from her, which she hopes to share with others to encourage them to think and feel with more introspection. Tracy Hetzel is the Creative Director at Graphic Esssentials in Baltimore, MD. She received her Bachelors Degree in Art History from the University at Buffalo. She has furthered her art training by taking several continuing education courses at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art) She lived in Western New York before moving to Maryland in 1993. Her watercolors consist mostly of fashion illustrations and portraits.
