Josef Kardell
Josef Kardell is a Baltimore-based artist who has been selling art since 2020. After graduating from Peabody Institute in 2012 with a degree in Music Composition, Josef started teaching music full-time, but shifted his focus to painting during the pandemic. Featured at Artscape, Remfest, Baltimore Farmer’s Market, Royal Blue, Baltimore Art Gallery, Gallery Blue Door, Charmed Kitchen, and more, Josef has made a name for himself on the Baltimore scene with his signature abstract style. In 2025, he sold his 500th painting, and the number continues to grow. Apart from art and music, Josef acts at Baltimore Improv Group regularly, and is also a personal trainer at Merritt Clubs.
