I’m a visual artist based in Columbia, MD. Artist-in-residence at the Howard County Arts Council.
My work explores color, contrast, and the emotional rhythm of everyday life. I paint intuitively in acrylic, layering transparent washes with bold marks. Recurring symbols—vessels, birds, moths—speak to transformation, presence, and impermanence.
Inspired by nature, and the beauty of being human, art is how I process and make sense of the world.
I’m also an artist, teacher, and full-time caregiver to my autistic, transgender adult daughter. That lived experience shapes my work with empathy, resilience, and purpose. I believe art can heal, connect, and transform—and I’m committed to helping others find their creative voice.
