Adisa Novah Moswen-Harkless Al-El
Adisa Moswen-Harkless is a self-taught artist working in different mediums. Inspiration of his work comes from comes from feelings evoked from life experiences: great family moments, work, travel, local and world events, and his very inner personal thoughts. Colour and shapes assist him in communicating the story he is trying to tell. When they are all put together, it becomes a story between the viewer and the painter.
Adisa teaches art at The Youth Leaders of Tomorrow Program in the DMV.
His educational background is in Art Appreciation, Art History, and Spoken Word.
He is currently the acting art director for the Edmonston Village Community Garden Project.
