Alma Roberts
I am a self-taught abstract expressionist painter who began my career as visual artist at the age of 62. I have had numerous exhibits including a very successful exhibit at Baltimore City Hall, and recently, I was included in a group exhibit in Maryland Comptroller’s Building in Annapolis, as well as one at BWI/Marshall Airport. One of my works (A Vessel Full of Power) is in the permanent collection of the James E. Lewis Museum at Morgan State University. I have recently been included in the Baker Artists Profiles. I serve on the Board of Reginald F. Lewis Museum, and I am a Commissioner on the Baltimore Public Art Commission.
