Anael Hester
I am Anael Hester and I am in my junior year as a student at the Baltimore School for the Arts with a major in Visual Arts and a growing interest in Art History. While most of the work primarily circles around improving upon traditional fine arts skills, outside of school I have attempted abstract painting, something I am hoping to get more serious about. Along with abstract painting, I enjoy using ink and watercolor, both of which I am relatively new to, to create surreal scenes and individual characters using a minimalist technique. While most of my joys lay in visual artistry, I also play the Scottish Snare drum and compete in a bagpipe band with my father, and I dabble in GarageBand, which is also something I am hoping to get more serious about.
