Arin Mitchell
Artist Arin Mitchell, whose studio is based in Baltimore, has been a practicing artist for over 30 years. She is a figurative painter whose works are primarily a combination of mixed mediums. Through the use of acrylic paints, colored tissue paper, and repurposed paintings on a unstretched canvas, she creates a variety of realistic images. The variety of color, line, and textures allows ones to be carried from one point to another through the painting. As a late friend, Lane, stated, “A painting is like a book each person reads into it what they see.”
