Blake M. Conroy
My work is about nature and the nature of our (human) perception. Specifically how we see, how our brains connect marks, in my case holes in a page or piece of metal, and come up with visual representations of the world around us. I am also interested in our capacity to layer information and make connections of disparate images or ideas. With my recent work I am exploring larger format cut paper works. I would like to continue this theme to mural sized pieces. I am also interested in large scale metal cutouts.
