Cassidy English
Mixed media artist, Cassidy English, has been passionate about art since they learned how to hold a crayon. Their art aims to create alternate realities through juxtaposition and project-specific material curation. This artist’s detail-oriented presentations and hyper-saturated aesthetics connect a variety of fluid components within their work. Their traditional fine arts background helps inform the unique way they approach fibrous, sculptural, and time-based arts.
They have been working as a freelance artist with clients across the United States for the past eight years. They have entered in and won numerous competitions at local, regional, state, and national levels throughout their years. Cassidy is now a current junior at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). They are working towards their BFA degree as a General Fine Arts major with an Experimental Fashion minor.
