Dave Eassa
Dave Eassa is a painter and sculptor living and working in Baltimore. He received his BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2013. Recently he was selected by Mera Rubell to participate in “Select 2014” at Artisphere in Roslyn, Virginia with a preview held at Marianne Boesky Gallery in New York. He has participated in group exhibitions most notably at Sophiajacob (Baltimore), Artisphere (Roslyn), Marianne Boesky Gallery (New York), artSTRAND (Provincetown, MA), Reh Kunst (Berlin, Germany), Current Space (Baltimore), and Casa das Artes Criação Ambiente Utopias (Sao Tome, Sao Tome and Principe). His work was published in New American Paintings No. 112 and Studio Visit Magazine Volume 25. In 2014 he was awarded an Individual Artist Grant in Sculpture from the Maryland State Arts Council.
