Jordan Mason
Jordan Mason, an artist from Baltimore, Maryland, received his BFA in Illustration and Animation from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2013. He is disciplined in multiple media including illustration, painting, photography, and animation. The style he works in, which he calls pop-modern, is a combination of pop art and illustration which utilizes both bright colors and black silhouette technique in combination with solid line work. His work is based on imagination and creating a new world where all of his characters exist. In addition to working in fine art, he has worked in the music industry for an independent label in New York City on the set of music videos, managing an artist, and writing for various blogs. He has shown work in other art galleries including the Sub Basement Studios and Unexpected Art owned by fellow artist Jeffery Kent and with Raw artists in group exhibitions. He has also set up two solo exhibitions showcasing his work independently.
