Born in Amsterdam, I am deeply influenced by the Dutch concept of Gezellig—a sense of warmth and connection when people come together. While English words like “cozy” or “pleasant” come close, there is no true translation. This philosophy guides my approach to photography, where I seek to capture moments of togetherness, inclusivity, and social connection.
Themes of play, childlike joy, curiosity, and exploration run throughout my work. I strive to capture the humanity of youth, documenting intimate moments that show the energy and excitement of children to bring my audience closer to the memories of their own upbringing.
