Matt Long
Matt Long is a graphic designer, multimedia artist, and outdoor enthusiast currently living in Frederick, Maryland. He is a graduate of Shepherd University where he pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Graphic Design. Throughout the day, Matt contributes his creative efforts into internal and external marketing, business development, and photography. Throughout the night, he utilizes his time for his more personal creative pursuits which have included collaborations with small businesses and charitable fundraising efforts for a handful of non-profit organizations. He has found great inspiration in his summer surf sessions in South Jersey, the outdoors, music, and travel. Matt was recently selected as the official poster artist of the 2014 Western Maryland Blues Festival and was selected to sell work at the John Mayer Winter Tour in 2013. He was also named the Downtown Frederick, MD Holiday Art Contest Barbara Maghan People’s Choice Award Winner of 2013. In fall of 2013 he was selected as the official artist for the SurfAid Cup – Malibu, CA surf contest for SurfAid International. Matt is a long-time supporter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts, Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund, Hope of Life International, Heartly House, and Surfrider Foundation.
