Matt Sherwood
My name is Matthew Sherwood, and I am an artist in Baltimore, Maryland. My current work wrestles with issues and contradictions that arise from a personal investigation of masculinity, and the role that it plays in contemporary society. I make paintings, sculptures and installations. I also select materials based on the needs of a specific project, usually in layering combinations, ignoring artificial limitations that may be set.
