Pink Lloyd Wright
His name says it all – a combination of Pink Floyd, an English progressive psychedelic pop-rock group known for their sonic experimentation, philosophical lyrics, and elaborate live shows, and Frank Lloyd Wright, an American architect who believed in a design philosophy he called organic architecture, or harmony with humanity and its environment. Pink Lloyd Wright is a combination of practical and fantastical.
A Baltimore-based film photographer with a cinematic background; having studied film and video at Stevenson University, Pink found a love of photography when he found a polaroid camera at a thrift store. He began documenting the underground music scene of Baltimore, MD, slowly branching into portraits, street photography, and landscapes. Constantly experimenting and dedicated to collaboration, Pink loads his subconscious with ideas and influences, then allows them to explode and meld in a creative fury resulting in a hyper-reality.
