Tesha Davilmar
I am a Haitian-American portrait painter living in Baltimore, Maryland. I use my art to communicate biographies, snapshots of life, and the intimate histories of both real and imagined figures. Visually, I aim to represent the duality of strength and softness in my art. By archiving the beauty in my existence and of those who look like me, I hope to preserve the stories of people who embody the softness in strength and the strength in softness.
