Xiaofu Wang
Xiaofu Wang is a Chinese painter, photographer, and writer. Her work is concerned with cultural heritage and conflict. The language of pop and sub culture. How language itself influences thought. The nature of reality and appearances. The work is often embedded with poetic and philosophical attitudes. Her short fiction was published in China by 萌芽编辑部,接力 press in 2006. She received a BFA in Photography from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2013. She is currently completing her MFA in the Hoffberger School of Painting at MICA. She has exhibited at Lazarus FLIV Hallway Gallery, Riggs and Leidy Galley, and Pinkard Gallery.
